Sales management responsibility for upstate New York consumer and industrial coatings.  Planned sales strategy; initiated sales contacts to retail outlets, industrial purchasers and suppliers.  Managed POS merchandising, advertising and sales promotion. Accountable for budgeting, forecasting, training and quality customer relations.

Public Relations Account Executive, MASTO DAGASTINE & ASSOCIATES, Latham, NY  Created and implemented successful marketing and public relations programs for GE Aircraft Engines, GE Power Generation E Aviation Services and Niagara Mohawk Power Corp.  Managed media relations and developed contacts with technical and trade media; prepared press materials, technical articles and other writing projects. In addition, developed, wrote, edited and produced marketing collateral and employee newsletters.  Managed photo sessions and production.

Senior Account Executive, KETCHUM PUBLIC RELATIONS – Planned and implemented marketing publicity programs for Mine Safety Appliance Co. and Conair Inc., both equipment manufacturers (plant safety, plastics molding, handling, robotics industry segments).  Developed new and creative marketing strategies and collateral;  wrote employee newsletters and managed media relations. Wrote technical articles, product information and press releases. In addition, managed photography, artwork, layout and design of marketing collateral.

Planned and implemented media relations programs, supporting marketing objectives for wide range of consumer and industrial products and services. Served as media trainer and company spokesperson for newspapers and consumer and trade magazines. Developed and implemented employee relations programs, including serving as managing editor, writer and production supervisor of SERVE Newsletter published for all 11,000 employees.
